Welcome to Forest Pulse!
Forest Pulse is a local registered charity, which supports families living in the Forest of Dean who have a child with disabilities. The Charity is run by a group of trustees, mainly parent members, who form the management committee. For more information about the services we offer, please visit our about us page.
We need your help!!!!We are lucky enough to have the support of the Miners Arms, Whitecroft once again this year as their chosen charity for their Wellie Weekend! We need as many people as possible to come along and support this event...It would be great if you could volunteer a couple of hours of your time over the Bank Holiday Weekend - Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th May to come along and shake some buckets, man one of our stalls and give it out stickers. This event has allowed Forest Pulse to continue to do what we do so lets continue to show our support to the local community and get as many of the Forest Pulse gang there! Please contact the office if you are able to give an hour or more of your time.
How exciting is this...!
Forest Pulse has been nominated by the Forest of Dean Regional Community to receive funding from The Midcounties Co-operative Carrier Bag Good Causes Fund, and following the recent meeting of our Good Causes Governance Panel I am delighted to inform you that the nomination has been successful. I have great pleasure in confirming that your group has been awarded £1,856.81
A big thank you goes out to all those who supported at our two fundraising events over the Easter Bank Holiday. Our first event took place on Saturday 20th April at the Coop in Coleford where we were invited along to do bucket collecting - we raised an amazing £303.24. Our second event took place on Monday 22nd April at the Festival of Transport in Coleford where we had a teddy tombola and raised a great £151.90.
We want people to come and join our Committess. Join our Fundraising Committee and help plan events or our Trustee committee, particularly if you have a background in finance or new build/planning permission.
